MANAGEMENT TEAM / KEY PERSONNEL – Naturally Iowa
William Horner, President & CEO: William Horner has a lifetime of experience developing and managing socially responsible, innovative businesses in the fields of agriculture and education. Mr. Horner is the co-founder of Naturally Iowa (founded in 2003), an innovative force in the dairy industry. From his background as an entrepreneur and educator to his ventures in agriculture and the organic dairy industry, Bill has spent his lifetime establishing, and managing successful, socially responsible organizations.
David Kolsrud, Vice-President, DAK Renewable Energy: David Kolsrud has 13 years of proven experience in the renewable energy industries. He helped develop, organize, and fund projects exceeding a billion dollars. In 2006 David formed DAK Renewable Energy Inc. DAK Renewable Energy focuses on renewable energy project development, consulting, and managing eleven LLC's with investments in multiple renewable projects.
Matthew Willard, Business Analyst, DAK Renewable Energy: Matthew has 25 years experience in business development, strategic planning, new product development, and marketing and sales within technology companies and business units. Matthew is recognized for successful sales and marketing efforts, new product development efforts, developing and implementing new business models; facilitating mergers and acquisitions; and establishing and maintaining International B2B relationships.
Dan Heard, Accounting Manager, DAK Renewable Energy: Dan has been engaged in public accounting for 22 years and active in the renewable energy industry for 12 years. Dan has experience in assisting projects from start up and progressing to monthly and annual reporting processes once a project is under production. Dan also has experience with merger / acquisition transactions and the financial and tax issues related to those transactions.
Mark Kloster, Chief Operating Officer: Mark has over 30 years of dairy industry background and experience, including fluid milk bottling, cultured dairy products, ice cream production, and juice and water bottling. Mark has many years of facility management that include building expansion oversight, dairy plant layout, production operations, and operational and budgetary controls.
Clark F. Driftmier, Business Consultant: Clark Driftmier, with Fairhaven Strategy Group, received a Master of Business Administration from the Darden Graduate Business School, University of Virginia, where he was awarded the faculty award for academic excellence, and a Bachelor of Music from Oberlin College. Clark brings over 25 years of management experience to the natural products industry.
Bill Lambert, Consultant: Mr. Lambert received his degree from Iowa State University in Dairy Science. He has over fifty years’ experience in the dairy industry, consulting with existing and start-up dairies worldwide. Lambert designed dairy processing facilities, and trained personnel in their operations in the Middle East and the former Soviet Republic. Before his “retirement”, he served as General Manager for Anderson-Erickson's Ice Cream Division. He is responsible for formulating all of Naturally Iowa’s ice cream products.
